I have seen so many celebrity makeup nightmares in the press lately that I just had to comment. The most common mistake and my personal favourite, is the overloading of HD powder under a celebrity's eyes. They look fine on TV but as soon as they get photographed using a flash, this happens!

I'm always gobsmacked by this. At what point does the makeup artist forget that their client is going to be photographed with a flash? Particularly when attending a red carpet event? I actually own an HD powder and since seeing lots of these images pop up in the press, i'm a little scared to use it. You never know when you are going to get ambushed by the paparazzi ....
