Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

For any under-eye concealer users out there (ie. anyone north of age 35), I have just invested the holy grail of setting powders.  You may remember that I mentioned this product in the post I did about concealers here.  I had this product used on me several times while having my makeup applied at Space NK, but over the weekend I actually bought the powder for myself and it has not disappointed.

It is extremely fine, very white and has tiny hints of light reflecting particles. The white means it is really only for use around the eye area (and possibly other small areas that require brightening). The ultra fine texture means that it really does a good job of keeping your concealer in place while stopping it from settling into any creases.

When applying it, you need to pat the powder into place with a small powder brush. I have been using a small blending brush, see picture.

If I had to be picky, my only gripe is that it is not a product that will travel well so I won't be taking it away with me. Aside from that, i'm really happy with it and have no doubt it is going to be on daily rotation when I am at home in London.

This product costs £18.50 from Space NK here. In Australia you can buy it here with free shipping for $35.00.
