I had planned to write a full packing review before my recent trip to Italy but for various reasons I just ran out of time and it never happened. I've picked up some great little travel items lately here in London that I thought deserved their own mini-post.
Laqa and Co make the cutest nail varnish pens around. Their colour range is delightful and the packaging is lovely. Each piece of packaging features a design by young up and coming artists. I bought the nail polish pen in 'Tweedledee' which is a summery coral colour perfect for a pedicure before a beach holiday. They also do lip pencils which I am yet to try. I bought my nail polish pen on Amazon for about £10. In Australia you can buy them here for $19.00. I can foresee many more purchases of these guys on the horizon.
Muji - how I love this company. They have the best clear perspex makeup storage systems (think Kim Kardashian's bathroom) which is another post entirely. Recently I have picked up a few things from their selection of empty travel bottles. These are great to use for decanting products into and I always do this with my Aspect moisturiser as it comes in a large pot which is not easily transportable.
When travelling with small children you are not going to pay 4 euros every time you need a pair of underpants washed, so I also decant laundry liquid into a Muji bottle to take with us.
Muji also have great clear toiletry bags for £3.50 to store your in-flight necessities so going through security is a breeze.
I am traveling pretty regularly now that we are London based so I will share any other good finds with you as I come across them.
