We are heading off to Dublin this weekend to visit family so I have to edit my stash down to the essentials. It is always tricky as we never quite know what we will be doing until we arrive, so I need to pack for all possibilities.
In the lead up to travel, I tuck away any small sample sized product I come across that I think will come in handy. This weekend we will only be away for 2 days so i've really cut down on products. These are the essentials I take when space is limited.
Bioderma Cleansing Water - travel size. This is a cult product that cleanses off all makeup (including eye makeup). It has recently become available to buy in the UK and Australia. It doesn't leave a residue unlike many of the cleansing oils out there.
Aspect Phytostat 9 Moisturiser (decanted from a giant pot down into a small screw-top jar).
Clarins Lotus Face Oil - sample size. I am taking this in place of my usual serums to use at night under my moisturiser.
Batiste Dry shampoo - travel size. This is for Sunday, when I really should wash my hair but don't want to.
Cane & Austin Sunscreen. I use this daily under my moisturiser or BB cream. It is really lightweight and does not interfere with my skincare regime.
Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector. I have more expensive BB creams and tinted moisturisers, but I keep going back to this one. It is a good back-up (and cheaper) option.
YSL Le Tient Touche Eclat Foundation.
Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer kit (stay tuned for a more detailed post on this to come on Monday)
Nars Sheer Lipstick in Falbala
Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Naked - mini size
Stila Convertible Colour in Lillium
Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara
A travel set of makeup brushes and an eyelash curler. A toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant, and i'm ready to go.
